History
At Enitor Primo, we work every day on products that people encounter in their daily lives. We have been doing this since 1948, from our company in the heart of Buitenpost. Enitor Primo is a true pioneer in extruded plastic profiles, founded in 1938 under the name Enitor. In our early years, we started by making coat guards and bicycle components. In 1956, we were among the first companies in the Netherlands to take advantage of the benefits of extrusion.
With the move to a new factory in Buitenpost in 1948, the opportunity arose to grow and invest in new techniques. In 1956, an important milestone followed: as one of the first companies in the Netherlands, Enitor began plastic extrusion. This development still forms the foundation of our current activities.
In the years that followed, Enitor continued to develop and professionalise. The establishment of a dedicated tooling department in 1972 made customisation a key priority, enabling faster response to customer needs.
Since 2019, Enitor has been part of the international Primo Group, which laid the foundation for further growth and development under the name Enitor Primo.
