FAQ

  • What does Enitor Primo do?

Enitor Primo develops and produces custom plastic extrusion profiles for a wide range of markets. We manage the complete process from design through to production and delivery, realising technical solutions that are optimally aligned with customer requirements.

  • What is plastic extrusion?

Plastic extrusion is a continuous manufacturing process in which molten plastic is pressed through a die to create a profile with a fixed cross-section. The profile is then cooled and calibrated to the correct dimensions and quality.

  • What types of plastic profiles are possible?

At Enitor Primo, virtually all types of custom extruded plastic profiles are possible. Thanks to the flexibility of the extrusion process, profiles can be developed in almost any shape, dimension and material combination.

  • In which sectors are plastic profiles used?

Enitor Primo is active in a large number of markets. Our solutions are used in, among others:

    - Builing & construction
    - Swimmingpool covers
    - Windows & doors
    - Greenhouses
    - Water Treatment
    - HVAC
    - Retail en Display
    - Furniture
    - Transport

Each market has specific requirements to which the design and material are tailored.

  • What materials does Enitor Primo work with?

Enitor Primo works with a range of plastics, depending on the application and requirements. Materials are selected on the basis of properties such as:

    - Strength and flexibility
    - Temperature resistance
    - UV and weather resistance
    - Chemical resistance
    - Sustainability and service life

Materials can also be adapted with additives, colours or combinations to achieve specific performance targets.

  • Can materials be combined?

Yes. Through techniques such as co-extrusion, tri-extrusion or quad-extrusion, multiple materials can be combined in a single profile, for example a rigid core with a soft sealing layer. This makes it possible to integrate multiple functions into one product.

  • How is the right material selected?

Material selection takes place in collaboration with our specialists and is determined by:

    - The application of the product
    - Mechanical and technical requirements
    - Environmental factors such as UV exposure, moisture or chemicals
    - Cost and sustainability

This ensures that the optimal balance between performance and price is always achieved.

  • What are the advantages of plastic profiles?

    - High design freedom
    - Lightweight solutions
    - Durability and long service life
    - Cost savings through efficient design
    - Possibility of integrating multiple functions

Profiles can also be precisely tailored to the finished product.

  • How does the product development process work?

The product development process consists of multiple steps:

    1. Initial consultation with the customer
    2. Customer drawing
    3. Technical proposal
    4. Final drawing
    5. Prototype
    6. Tooling
    7. Customer approval
    8. Start of production

  • How does Enitor Primo ensure product quality?

Quality is continuously monitored through quality inspections registered in our ERP system. This gives us real-time insight into quality performance, deviations are identified rapidly and immediate corrective action can be taken. This ensures full traceability and makes it straightforward to share inspection reports with customers.

  • What certifications and quality standards are applied?

Enitor Primo operates in accordance with international quality and management systems including: - ISO 9001 (quality management)
    - ISO 14001 (environmental management)
    - ISO 45001 (health & safety)

These certifications guarantee quality, safety, reliability and sustainability throughout the entire process.

  • How does Enitor Primo contribute to sustainability?

Sustainability plays an important role in:

    - Material selection (recyclable materials and efficient use)/br> - Product design (reduced material use, lower environmental impact)
    - Production (reuse of waste streams)

  • Why choose Enitor Primo?

With our focus on quality, reliability and close collaboration, we realise solutions that are not only technically sound but also commercially and environmentally optimised. We are involved from the first idea right through to the realisation of the finished product.
